Social Media has now become a critical part of any online marketing campaign. It’s so important that getting a site “digged” and “stumbled” has now developed into a whole new industry.
It’s interesting to see how social networks develop and see each one provide essentially the same service but by displaying and delivering each article or site differently.
Stumble: This is my own personal favorite for delivering me a constant stream of interesting websites, links, pictures and articles. The best way to think of stumble is like channel surfing on your TV. You keep pressing the button until you find something you like. Its a great tool for getting you out of your usual pattern of sites.
Digg: Digg is an incredibly powerful site that has been known to bring down entire sites due to the increased traffic. Any interesting articles, web content, pictures and sites can be “dugg”. The most “Dugg” sites appear on the Digg.com home page. Its simple, effective and utter genius.
