Hackers Target Twitter
Some of the highest profile bogglers for Twitter have been targeted by Hackers. It has announced that 33 accounts have been hacked into including those belonging to President Obama and Britney Spears.
This follows a phishing scam on the site which encourages users to click on a fake twitter webpage. The first signs came on Monday when the celebrities including CNN broadcaster Rick Sanchez awoke to find their twitter accounts with some pornographic messages. The accounts were locked down straight away and full control was given back to the rightful account holders. The hackers broke into the tools used by the Twitter support team which help people edit the email address associated with their account. The phishing scam affected thousands of users.
