Affiliate Sites
One of the easiest (and my most hated) ways of getting yourself an online income is by setting up and affiliate site.
The basic idea behind affiliate marketing is that a business pays money to affiliate sites for their efforts in advertising the business. The idea is simple, but there is potentially a lot of money to be made.
When taken down to their core, comparison sites such as moneysupermarket.com and confused.com are rather complex affiliate sites.
The strength of them is that they don’t actually sell any products themselves.. so all you (as an affiliate) have to do is advertise your site as best you can (either through SEO or pay per click or any other means)
The reason why I dislike them so much is that the vast majority are automatically generated and don’t actually add anything useful to the web. They usually fail in the 1st few months as although they cost almost nothing to set up, you end up loosing interest.
